Everyday you learn something new

So I learned the coolest thing! Maybe it is because I am way exhausted that I find find EVERYTHING cool at the moment.
Alright, So homeostasis is when the body is equal. The body responds to stimuli. If the body, which feeds into the brain, is over stimulated it reads it as an irritation. Like wearing a wool sweater compared to a cotton one. Both touching the skin, one over stimulating caused by the wool and one not over stimulated by the cotton. The same thing the mind and over stimulation of the mind. People who bounce their legs, move around when they are sitting, and ADHD Children, they are trying to stimulate their brain more in order for them to have homeostasis. Migrains are an example of an over stimuli of a brain. Wanting to sit in a dark, quiet room wrapped in a blanket are ways to under stimulate the brain. Clinically insane people who sit in a corner and rock. Their mind is over stimulated and they are trying to return to homeostasis.
So in order to help a child or a person with ADHD or other similar problems, the simple proses of letting them run around for 15 minutes and allow their body to hit homeostasis before putting them in a controlled environment where they are forced into a highly non-stimulating atmosphere.
