I applied for an internship for personal training and physical therapy at Alpine Fitness. I just sent my resume in and went in for my interview and I was "hired" on the spot! They loved my resume, which I found really exciting because I had put it together really fast before I sent it.
The difference between this internship at my job at Orem Physical Therapy is this one I have a chance to get hired onto their personal training team after I complete all my hours. That really got me interested. I also get to actually learn and preform stretches at this clinic because the physical therapist is also a trained mentor which means he can teach us and supervise us as we treat patients.
The best part of this job is it makes me work out. I feel strong and confident when I am in shape so what a great opportunity. We as interns get to personal train each other and make a program for each other. Great experience mixed with a work out buddy, I have no problem with that! I adore the staff and love the people I work with. The drive is not fun, and soon I will wake up at 5 am in the spring, but it is SO worth it!

Halloween
Pumkin carving! I got WAY excited and demanded we carve them almost a week early. Mine was way intense! It was a skeleton hand holding a rose! It is almost half way through, but can you see it in the picture.
Carl's pumpkin had a really nasty equation on it. It is really one of the scariest pumpkins I had ever seen.
Carl didn't want to carve pumpkins. He was a good sport and did it anyway. I was very impressed with his work.
Uncle Mike always has a really swinging Halloween party every year. This is their ninth year doing it. They did a really great job! They decorated their house from head to toe with cobwebs and all kinds of different things. It was way cool. We played all kinds of games and ate all kinds of snacks. I found it interesting Carl and I made the only Halloween treat. We made dirt and worms! Best treat ever by the way.
Carl and I were Hades and Eris (Goddess of Chaos) I really liked our costume! Mostly because I put a lot of effort into them. For my first really big project, I am very proud of myself.
On Halloween Night we went to a party at our friends the Coombies. It was a Murder Mystery party. Carl was a illegitimate son. His name for the day was Rog S. B. Asterd. (We cracked up over his name) His costume was a hiker guy. I was a beast woman of a secretary. It was funny as very appropriate for my person really. As well as Carl's character. Ashely and Jordan came from another party so Ashely was a Candy Corn Book writer and Jordan was Captain Kirk to the rescue! It was rather entertaining. We had a really good time! No one figured out who the murder was. Rachel was the closest, but not right on the spot. We really enjoyed ourselves and hope to do it again next year!
